People have so many choices of products, services and information. The patterns of daily living, how we live, learn, keep healthy, work and play is more varied than ever before. Social media, blogging, word of mouth marketing, internet and mobile applications have impacted and evolved the way we communicate and connect.

But some things don't change. The fundamentals still apply to business; knowing your customer, how to target them, what is unique about your offer, and how to deliver that value in a way that gives you a competitive edge, one that you can sustain and build upon.

I provide strategy-led consultation and design services. With a 20+ year track record and a recipient of over 50 design awards, I can safely say I've touched on practically every aspect of communication design. Leveraging my experience in the disciplines of business, design and technology I've provided proven creative solutions for some of the best-known brands including Discovery Networks, Phillips/Magnavox, National Geographic and America Online, as well as many other firms who are developing revolutionary products and services.

The execution of a successful solution in even shorter time frames requires significant knowledge and experience in strategy, creative development and project management.

When failure is not an option, it's time to bring in experience.

Been there, done that. I’ve had the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele and a broad range of different projects. Check out my work

“Conceptualization, wireframing, layout, branding, visual design, motion graphics...if you can find a designer that's really strong in two of these things, you've struck gold. Max is the only designer I've ever known that's a true virtuoso in all these. He's a creative force with the talent, discipline, and energy I've never seen equalled In my nearly 20 years in the field of interactive design.”

Skiff E-Reader Debuts at CES

NEW!

For the past five months I have been working in NYC in stealth mode on the Skiff e-reader. The Skiff e-reader is a lightweight device with a 11.5-inch full touchscreen that makes it the largest e-reader on the market. Like all other e-readers, Skiff uses the black-and-white display technology developed by E Ink. The Skiff is optimized for newspaper and magazine content and will use Sprint’s 3G network to offer wireless connectivity.

More work to do…more peeks to come later :)
